DIY nail polish rack

So my weekend project was to make myself a nail polish rack! I find that i'm always leaning towards buying the same colours over and over again.... so this way i can see all my pretty colours all at once rather than sorting through my bucket!

I made this out of the foam bristol board and learned off of a youtube tutorial.. go find it! I did a horrible job cutting..but whatever! i'll make a better one sooner or later..maybe a longer one this time :)

So, i realized my make up collection and my "make up" counter (which is just the top of a shelf) was starting to grow! and seeing that i was going to a MAC make up sale this weekend, i figured i should start cleaning up some things. I headed to Wal-Mart and picked up a few things...and it turned into this...

I bought a desk organizer and bought these little trays to put in the organizer. I sorted it so that the top drawer was all brushes, lipsticks and miscellaneous (hairties, perfume, clips)

Next drawer was all the eye make up (shadows, mascaras, etc.)

Next was the face stuff (powders, lotions, and some samples).

I'm hoping to organize this a bit better though.. but at least they're all in their own little compartments!! :)
