Earth to Table Bread Bar

For lunch/brunch we headed to Locke Street in Hamilton (it's kind of their Main st. with little boutiques and stores!) and went to Earth to Table Bread Bar. It's sort of a mix of a bakery/restaurant that serve up sandwiches, pizzas, etc.

Jeff ordered the warm wild mushroom sandwich. The Soup + Sandwich combo is $9 and the soup of the day was a roasted corn soup. Delicious!!

I ordered the Roast Pork sandwich which had a creamy mustard and "cabbage" as well.. super yummy!! On the softest and freshest bread ever!

We also got an order of the "fully loaded" fries which depends on the day.. Today, it was fries with mushrooms, scallions, bacon, topped with a blue cheese sauce (with chunks of blue cheese).. THE BEST fries i've ever had!! This was $8... hefty price, but you get a huge order and we definitely shared it with the table!

Since the bread was amazing, i had to buy something! I bought a multigrain loaf for $5.25. Kerry and Eli's mom probably loved it more than me since she had 2 large bags full of pastries and other breads! All amazing!!

Weekend in Hamilton/Burlington

Spent the weekend in Burlington/Hamilton! Went to Burlington first for Sean's 9th birthday! We went swimming in their pool which was extremely warm! Good times! He got a Wave master!! Which is that punching/kicking thing for his birthday! What a cutie.. he was stoked!

After dinner, Anne whipped out her balloons and ballooon artist skills and went to work! It was too much fun and the bicycle one was just super outrageous!! The other one is a snake by the way :).. angle of the photo is probably not the best!

Headed to Hamilton that night and partied with Kerry and Eli of course.. and Kerry being his usual self below..

And yes, that's him sitting in a baby seat because it was too difficult to take it out of the car!!
