Christmas Eve continued....

 walking along Avenue of Stars..a TON OF PEOPLE!!

 walked up nathan road towards Jordan for desserts!! :) Brought back a lot of memories of me and jeff walking here :)

 people dressed up as a star, gingerbread house, and a snowman!..

 police close off roads with bright orange tape to pedestrians and such..

 these are called JENGA cakes... mango on the left and durian on the right..basically, its this place's version of the pancake.. (the pancake is the same thin sugar layer wrapping up the fruit and whipped cream...if you saw my asia blog last year you wouldve seen it)

 Coconut ice!! this place is better than Tong Pak Fu i find. :) it's on a street called MENS STREET (lam yun guy) vs the Ladies street in Mong Kok.... On this street though, aside from MANY late night restaurants.... are hookers ... eew.. i saw a few :(

my aunt liked the durian cake so much she ordered a second!

this is the ... glutinous rice balls i believe... in a peanut sesame soup? it was freshly ground... pretty good....although i ate too much sweet stuff so there wasnt too much taste!

New Years eve... err.. i mean CHRISTMAS EVE!!

 started off the day by.... can you guess??? DIM SUM!!!! lol... we walked towards Megabox... (the above picture is the outside of a movie theatre..which they call .. a CINEMA.. so proper!)

 this is THE BESTTTTT bbq pork bun ever..cuz the top part is the coconut topping!!!! soo good!!

 another ice rink in another mall.... they love their mall ice rinks...!

 afterwards, me and my dad went to Diamond Hill (june-sek-san) and went to the "ne nunnery".. .it's a Buddhist temple..soo pretty.,. unfortunately i wasn't able to take pictures inside...i had to be respectful and obey :(

 i just thoguht this was hilarious... because .. WHO NEEDS A MENU when you can just look at their wall..

 AND SO IT BEGINS......christmas carollers... a ton of them!!!

 got out at TST and it was INSANITY..they blocked off roads and htere were a TON of people walking..

 christians are often young people here....trying to promote their religion..

 we had zero problem getting reservations at a shanghai place.... because during the holidays, people go out to eat western food... so asian restaurants are typically more empty! (i thought that was interesting)

 for some reason, a bunch of clowns came into the place and we had to vote for the best one.....

 pretty awesome being on the Hong Kong roads that are typically rammed with busses and taxis!

 more Toy Story at harbour City in TST.. (harbour city is the mall Sharon and Chris and I went to yesterday with the Chanel and Hermes stores...) not sure how we missed this!

in chinese they call these aliens "3 eyed boy" hahaha so cute!

 see what i mean by they're SERIOUS about christmas? by the way, these people are indian!

after walking through TST, we walked our way up to Jordan.... HK celebs "THE TWINS" were also performing :)

went out to desserts after but i will post those tomorrow!! :)
