catching up...

Sorry i haven't updated the past few days...but just have been getting home late and really tired!! which is a good thing in my books!

so here is pics from the past two days!

DIM SUM WITH MY DAD AND AUNT
 

 these are super common..they give you a bowl to wash your dishes in... ever since the SARS thing in HK, they've been extremely careful with sanitizing stuff..

 washing our dishes with tea (or hot water) in the bowl..

 i saw these things and thought they were eggs... its not!! its a milk custard thing in a coconut and it was SOOO GOOD!!! omg...

after dim sum, we walked around a bit and my dad showed me where he went to primary school!!! so cute!!!

ADMIRALTY STN MALL : PACIFIC PLACE

 me and julian met up and went to admiralty stn where were was a mall (of course) called Pacific place... he hyped up the washrooms..and they indeed were SO AWESOME!!!!

 we were in SUCH an expensive mall... as you can see... a chanel store...

 versace, celine, dolce and gabbana... ughhhh!!

 somehow managed to get to this terrace on the top floor...

 and took a really cool elevator back down..

walked our way to central..and saw old men playing chinese chess..


CENTRAL

 this was a TIFFANY AND CO. themed area for christmas.. so cute! perfect for a girl!

 sigh.. if only i received actual gifts in these boxes in these sizes!!

 a rolls royce i believe.. two toned car!

japanese ramen with julian... we had to dip the noodles in that sauce/broth!! interesting..


 LUNCH THE NEXT DAY WITH MY DAD AND AUNT

went to a shanghai place for lunch the next day... of course got appz.. chicken and.. these other things.. donno what they are in english..but theyre crunchy and delicious!

 what's a shanghai lunch without my hot and sour soup? wasn't that good..it was too watery!

 and of course, these cucumbers.. yummm.

my dad got DAN DAN noodles..its a type of noodles.. and it was with pork chop..


 TST, AVE of the STARS, & THE PEAK

we went to this japanese udon place.. got some apps...sushi with GOLD FLAKES lol

 i got a tomato soup chicken udon.. the udon as u can see is different...flatter! so good!!

AVENUE OF THE STARS!! we got there on time for a laser light show!! all the buildings were 'dancing' with lights! truly an amazing view..

PEAK PICS (from my cousin's SLR so picture quality is amazing)

 i'll let these pictures speak for themselves... my cousin drove us up the peak..and afer 20 minutes of crazy windy roads.. we were there!! extremely breathtaking in person!

 we took the above pics on top of that peak buildling.. it's like the shape of half a football! cool huh!?

DESSERT TIME!!

 not sure why this pic is this orientation...but....here's the menu!!

 this is called MANGO CHEUNG FUN!! .. if you don't know... cheung fun is typically a rice noodle roll..... this one is a dessert version!! at first i thoguht.. WHAT rice noodles?! but its actually not of ocurse..it's just the NAME!! either way.. amazing!! the best one!

 this is the Yakult Shaved ice.... very bland..not much flavour.. (this is a different dessert place than i went to with jeff last year..)

 it was huge!

 this one is the fire snowflake or something... it's torched whipped cream?? it was more like a light marshmallow.. so good!! and inside was green tea ice cream and a layer of cake!

 this one was a passionfruit shaved ice.. .this was was tasty and super sweet! :)

i went with my cousin and aunt after the peak after dropping everyone off :) everyone was too tired and my cousin and aunt were troopers and decided to go.. i of course.. DID NOT object :)
